I'm collecting unemployment after getting laid off from a job I hated- and I dont necessarily want to go back into that field but also I feel like I need a job and direction to do something with my life- but I have no idea what it should be.
I just find myself wasting my time by scrolling the Donald all day
rather than collect unemployment and surf the donald, go deliver pizza for awhile. you'll meet some interesting people and maybe figure out what you wanna do.
I'm collecting 860 from unemployment after tax which is about 22$ an hour... would you take a job at a lower rate than that if it meant you could work?
not sure, never been on unemployment. also, I would sometimes bring in $200-$400 on a friday night when I delivered pizza. depends on how busy the store is and how many drivers there are I suppose, but still. I guess you gotta ask yourself if you're happy. are you growing? if not, are you fine with that? are you fine to know that the guy across the street is carrying you?
