I think it's just that Mormons are very easily compromised as they want everyone to be squeaky clean, but they're not aside from appearances and finding dirt wields enormous power there. I had heard rumors that there was a Mormon mafia and it probably blackmails the shit out of many Mormons.
My husband and I live in Utah, moved here in 2012 thinking it would be a safe haven from California. Boy were we wrong.
The state is full of RINO - SJWs. The type who make it more about feeling like good and virtuous people than actually doing something constructive.
Do NOT move to Utah.
Hubby and I have talked about Florida and South Dakota if we ever had to flee - but the problem is - ANY state can flip leftist.
