Well ok then.

Can we backdate this to all the men who were convicted of rape just because a woman got drunk and went home with a guy and regretted it the next day? (even when the guy was wasted and doesn't remember a thing either...)

87
Marshall2 87 points ago +87 / -0

Morning after regret is an abuse of the RAPE statutes. But it happens all the time. Somehow women can't be held responsible for their actions when they are inebriated by choice, but inebriated men are.

Imagine a world where WOMEN are prosecuted for RAPE for seducing men who are drunk.

34
unclebobinator 34 points ago +36 / -2

I've been seduced when drunk. Girl just wouldn't fuck off so I gave her a few weak humps then let her do the rest. Which was difficult because I was the opposite of turned on.

Girls would call that rape, I call that me being a beta and not telling her to get the fuck away from me.

26
IntersectionalXhe 26 points ago +28 / -2

A lady who I know who is big time into the whole sexual assault scene is actually trying to get me to press charges against two women who did similar things to me. I’m not, because I don’t agree that I was raped, but I at least give her credit for being consistent, few liberals are.

11
tits_galore 11 points ago +14 / -3

uh yeah...y'all gotta stop fucking all of these unworthy and low quality girls. There's plenty of women out there that are actually deserving of the D and won't try to ruin your life because she regrets being a slut. Y'all HAVE to start being more selective.

unclebobinator 4 points ago +5 / -1

I was like 21 or 22 and was just hanging with a girl who I thought was cool. Until we decided to hook up one night after some drinks and went crazy.

She was a hot redhead too. If she wasn't nuts and we were sober, or at least I didn't have too much to drink, it would have been some good booty.

8
Smarmcastic 8 points ago +8 / -0

Please refer to "The Crazy/Hot Matrix" for guidance and carry on with your life!

7
plaaaa 7 points ago +7 / -0

Drunk hookups are a bad idea & should be discouraged entirely, male or female.

unclebobinator 0 points ago +2 / -2

Definitely. I was young and stupid, like a lot of kids.

But a nice meal and a bottle or two of wine plus some late night booty is mucho bueno.

Somehow women can't be held responsible for their actions

This is the same reason for the overwhelming majority of abortions.

7
ActualAdult 7 points ago +8 / -1

This is why my advice to men is that the moment you find out a woman claims you raped her because she was drunk, if you had any alcohol yourself before having sex with her you go straight to the police (even if she hasn't) and report her as having raped (or 'serious sexual assault' in the UK) you.

That way you get the protections of a rape victim, you get the victim payout and if you get in first, your lawyers can argue that she's making a retaliatory claim to try and evade justice.

The law doesn't differentiate by gender and rape accusations are serious, so be pro-active in your defence.

4
BigPanda71 4 points ago +4 / -0

The law might not differentiate on paper, but we all know how that would go in the real world

3
Angerisagift 3 points ago +7 / -4

Usually men have far higher alcohol tolerance than women. In our civilization for a long time it has been understood that men ought to safeguard women, be that physical or moral safety. Now between feminism and artificial birth control and porn plenty of men and women are either utterly selfish or downright hostile to the opposite sex. It’s a sad state of affairs and may prove to be a crucial part of our imminent collapse. Delayed family formation, fewer children, a birth rate that only appears ok if you ignore who is actually having kids.

Unlikely to be a popular opinion, but try to hold yourselves to a higher standard than whatever the courts happen to like. Screwing a woman who is borderline pass out drunk you just met is not some satisfying encounter unless you’re on the Bill Cosby spectrum.

4
Marshall2 4 points ago +5 / -1

Way to completely absolve women of ANY responsibility and blame men for acting like an idiot. That is blatant sexism.

I agree that both men and women have to learn to respect themselves and others when it comes avoiding promiscuity and using good judgement before jumping in the sack. But blaming all the consequences on men is ridiculous.

2
Angerisagift 2 points ago +2 / -0

This site is primarily men. I am saying to fellow men, hold yourself to a higher standard than the bare minimum of any given court. I am no saint. I also know firsthand that plenty of women are hardly virtuous maidens. I lost plenty by realizing too late just how vile some women can be. Looking back I wish I had been more of the risk adverse/prudish type. And traitor or not, a certain politician was wise to avoid being alone with women. They are usually better liars than men and they can screw you over even if you don’t screw them.

As for treating men and women differently, YES, cause they are different. We only make men sign up for the draft. We segregate sports. Etc.. What sort of deluded guy thinks it’s sexist to realize the sexes differ?

3
plaaaa 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's bizarre to me that a Christian pro life site has so many people having one night stands and random sex hookups!

No, they fuck up your entire culture. Your last statement is actually far worse than the first.

Society is built on certain levels of trust. Those are breaking down, parents don't let their kids just play anywhere in metropolitan areas, people stop giving to beggers, people stop picking up hitchhikers.

It's a slow breakdown of the bonds of civilization.

Absolutely correct and those have broken done tremendously.

The number of people within our groups of “us” has become much smaller while the sizes of the “they” groups has grown tremendously — part of the cause of all the conflict today and one of the reasons totalitarian governments are gaining speed — we have been isolated as a partial result of distrust

I pick up hitchhikers all the time. I know what it's like to walk home after work and I feel for them.

Know who I never offer a drive to? Women. I live in a college town and see lots of girls walk home. I'm sorry and I know these accusations aren't exactly super common, but I have too much to lose for some psycho bitch to read my plate after I drop her off and report me for something I didn't do.

Call me paranoid but you can be damn sure that would never happen with a guy hitchhiker. I'm also always carrying so I don't worry about assaults either.

9
IntersectionalXhe 9 points ago +10 / -1

Yeah, my issue with “believe all” crap is they brush off the statistic that 2-10% are false accusations. I pointed this out to someone who told me she’s talked to over 100 women who have been assaulted. “OK, which 10 were lying?” And her brain broke. I even made it simpler, “which 2?” I’m not some savage asshole, women get raped and we should punish those who are guilty. But the tenor of the conversation makes it such that you are right to be weary.

11
WinkingPede 11 points ago +11 / -0

You know I could be wrong, but I think the 2-10% stat is misleading. It's 2-10% that they KNOW are fake. The majority of the cases can't be proven either way. I'm not sure what the expected number of false accusations are, but I believe it would be much higher than 2-10%.

4
DangleBarry 4 points ago +4 / -0

Up to 50% are baseless or deliberately false.

2
WinkingPede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks, it's been awhile. I couldn't remember exactly, but I knew most of the feminists stats are B.S./misleading. That one especially grinds my gears!

4
ActualAdult 4 points ago +4 / -0

Approach the subject from a different angle:

Fewer than 10% of men ever rape anybody. (Far fewer - well under 5%).

That means that for 90% of men, 100% of rape accusations are false.

That happened to a guy in Australia.

He helped a girl change a flat tire at a gas station and she falsely accused him.

Luckily the security camera footage exonerated him but he still spent some time in jail, lost his job, had his face plastered all over the media, got harassed by activists, etc.

Not really sympathetic to male or females who get blackout drunk. Choices have consequences and it's a bad message that one shouldn't be responsible for what happens when they're drunk. Everyone should understand the risks of getting blackout drunk more seriously. One can and will wake up to find out that they've done something to ruin their life.

1
plaaaa 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, don't do it without friends you really trust around to protect you.

1
MamaLlama4DJT2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree, though I admittedly did have a couple blackout drunk times before I got my shit together and stopped being an asshole.

Remember the Stanford swimmer rape? The girl was 3 x the legal limit and the boy was 2 x. They both didn’t remember parts of the night. My college age niece and I went back and forth on this and I told her it bothers me A LOT that the accuser takes no responsibility whatsoever for the situation. She said the girl probably couldn’t “mentally handle” thinking she had a part in it.

WTF!?!?

2
touchmystuffIkillyou 2 points ago +2 / -0

Many women have been encouraged to believe that they are never at fault for anything and can always shift the blame on men, other women, anyone. Many men feed and enable this delusion by treating them like special flowers in an attempt to get into their pants. Feminists are certainly fine with the idea that all women must eat their cake and have it too. Our entire cultural lack of morals, pride and character shape these dynamics. Your niece probably struggled to get through the cognitive dissonance that might actually hold a woman accountable for her actions. There are many great women who don't act that way and all men would do good to seek them out exclusively. Unfortunately, there aren't currently enough of them to go around.

1
MamaLlama4DJT2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

You’re probably right, she is a really smart young woman, works hard in school, makes good and responsible choices so it baffled me to hear her explanation.

I need to remember how soul-crushing it is when your beliefs start to crumble.

I did a very quick search about this. Didn’t see anything about African languages, but the Amondawa tribe in the Amazon lack a native concept of time. They don’t track years, or age, or things like that. They can learn it, though. The article I read mentioned how they’re becoming more and more likely to learn Portuguese, and don’t struggle with learning the concept of past, present, and future.

1
randomusers239874 1 point ago +1 / -0

5
MenicusMoldbug 5 points ago +6 / -1

I don't know about this one, man.

Read the article. The prosecutors used a law whose text says it was for people who administer drugs then rape the victim.

The court said that was the wrong law and go have a retrial.

1
b0ss 1 point ago +2 / -1

The bill is right, the thing is this bill wouldn't even needed if such things wouldn't occur regularly in the US.

3
MenicusMoldbug 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm pretty sure rape isn't just happening in the US.

Rape has been going on since we lived in caves.

1

The importance is on the regularity. The bill is needed to improve the law, therefore prevent more of these actions to be taken, which is becoming a new norm in the US it seems.

Jon888 17 points ago +18 / -1

He is not guilty of a specific type of rape where you BOTH drug them and rape them. He is still guilty of rape, just not drugging her also which gets you a more hefty sentence.

9
orange_dit 9 points ago +9 / -0

How do you know he is guilty? She claims to have passed out. But is that claim true? I don't know. If she didn't pass out and both were drunk I don't see why that is rape.

2
Jon888 2 points ago +4 / -2

Because he was found guilty by a jury of his peers, the prosecutor just charged him with a type of rape that requires you to also be guilty of drugging the bitch first. Which he did not do.

4
Marshall2 4 points ago +5 / -1

That is insufficient. I doubt he was well represented and the jury was probably rigged by the Voir Dire process where his peers are excluded and replaced by leftards.

2
orange_dit 2 points ago +3 / -1

I'm not defending him or saying he isn't guilty. But a jury can be wrong too and believe a lying woman. And If you really believe she is the victim here, why are you caller her a bitch? Can't have it both ways.

1
Marshall2 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't know how you can come to that conclusion without more evidence. A drunk girl having sex isn't usually RAPE. Passing out and not recalling what you did before passing out is a common side effect of excessive alcohol consumption.

So is regretting what you do remember and claiming your god given right to victim-hood.

1
Jon888 1 point ago +1 / -0

I came to this conclusion because a jury of his peers unanimously came to that conclusion after reviewing all the evidence. And that's how our justice system works.

1
Necrovoter 1 point ago +1 / -0

a jury of his peers

A jury of people where the prosecution used all of their chits to exclude those who might be favorable to the defendant, and whom the defense used all of their chits to exclude anyone who might be hostile to the defendant. IOW - a jury NOT of the defendants peers.

A jury of people who didn't find an excuse to get out of jury duty (how many times do you think celebrities or CEOs serve on juries?)

A jury of people who are fine with making less than minimum wage for anywhere from a few days to a week of work.

after reviewing all the evidence

Reviewing the evidence they were allowed to see/hear you mean.

In other words a shitty jury. This doesn't mean the crappy jury is any better for the prosecution or the defense.

If we had a jury system where jurors were allowed to ask their own questions of witnesses, and where jurors were randomly selected and qualified before they were assigned to a trial, and where only rare exemptions were allowed and where the government paid their normal wages, then I'd have more faith in the verdicts being just.

As for drunken fornication - if there were a sizable number of women being charged with rape when both the man and woman were drunk, then I'd have more faith in the system.

24/7 bodycams for everyone, everywhere is what we are going to end up with.

11
Therealmewt 11 points ago +11 / -0

Please read the article before you get worked up or something.

The supreme court actually does it's job, despite the morals of it all, the law in question doesn't include having sex with someone who is passed out from intoxication.

A bill is on the way that includes it (Haven't looked into the bill)

yes she could have taken in less alcohol.

8
Bigbadchows 8 points ago +8 / -0

I am ok with this to a lesser extent. In a few cases a man and a woman go out drinking. they go back to the dorm and have sex. Next day her boyfriend witnesses her walk of shame. Turns it into rape which in some area's requires the woman to be sober enough to consent. The man equally as intoxicated cant claim is was too intoxicated to consent and will be at min kicked out of school. Now this guy was a piece of shit and it was likely the worst type of rape. But like red flag laws it will end bad. Lastly if you go home with man you met in a bar, you need to know that what that means.

So the argument is there should be 3 different levels:

  1. Rape while the person is awake and not drugged.
  2. Rape while the person is drugged out on their own.
  3. Rape while the person is drugged because the person who is doing the rape also drugged the person.

So the person got convicted for number 3 but the argument is he should be convicted for number 2 but number 2 doesn't exist as a law so they can only convict for number 1 if you can't convict for number 3. So, the feeling is that number 1 has too light of a sentence associated with it and number 3 is too harsh.

Am I understanding this right?

This has nothing to do with Somalia and more to do with women not being able to destroy a man for life because she regrets getting drunk and WILLINGLY going home with him for a one night stand.

Raise an eyebrow for who exactly? Do you think Batman is waiting in the shadows to help? These women have to be responsible for themselves and their own safety.

Should we have bars force women to take a breathalyzer before they leave to make sure they don't go out and do anything foolish? Maybe we should just ban women from drinking altogether?

Get drunk around the wrong crowd and you might wake up with some sore spots. Trust your better judgment, lady pedes.

Feminism got the woman raped.

Why is she walking home unattended. Why was she even drinking?

2
Verrerogo 2 points ago +2 / -0

This.

2
Marshall2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Feminism did not get her raped.

It made her stupid enough to erase common sense that would have allowed her to avoid dangerous situations instead of being in denial that there are dangerous situations that need avoiding.

It's like a pedestrian crossing a freeway. Crossing a freeway doesn't get you hit by a car, but it makes your CHANCES of getting hit by a car much much greater. Therefore, common sense tells you to avoid crossing freeways and be extremely careful if you must.

Soldiers call it situational awareness. Feminism is situational obliviousness.

"Feminism is situational obliviousness."

Precisely

I've been drunk by my own accord and not once would I have accepted forced dick in my ass.

How are the two even related in the minds of these absolute fucktards?

Marshall2 5 points ago +5 / -0

Being Drunk is not a license to RAPE nor is it a license to claim RAPE. But the latter is far more common than the former and the victims of morning after regret are almost universally male and have their lives ruined.

GrovPortion 5 points ago +5 / -0

All the more reason not to fuck around without building some form of relationship. I'm not saying it's ok on any level, but if that's how women want to act then they can't have the D.

Men should fantasize less about sex and be more MGTOW and/or rely on Christianity. It would solve A LOT of problems if no men would simp.

2
Trumpdidit 2 points ago +2 / -0

My bet is if the victim would have been related to any judge, the conviction would have reamibned.

Just got another 30 days in Facebook jail on my fake account for mentioning the average IQ of Somalia.

The joys of Minnecrapolis.

North and South Dakota already have a rough time with those dipshits crossing over the border and treating them like pressure valves to their home domain's bullcrap, imagine when they want to move for real.

Text of the statute is quite clear. Lower courts failed in this case.

2
mikethemarine 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is a good thing, but the problem here now is the higher court has allowed a retrial, that part is bullshit, what ever happened to double jeopardy, they tried him on a felony and it was wrong to do, and now they want to convict him on a lesser charge cause they didn't get a conviction the first go around. This country if FUCKED UP, My question is where Is HUNTER

If you aren’t planning on getting NAKED do NOT go back to a guys apt/into a frat room etc... I learned the hard way not to even kiss a guy alone in a room unless you are ready to get down n dirty! Once you start getting someone turned on they may not want to stop especially if u are both drunk or impaired on drugs! I’m not saying anyone deserves to be assaulted but you must think before you act always!

icockmyglock 1 point ago +2 / -1

WTF? The wording of this post implies this is somehow bad? Are you fucking kidding me? These requires women to take responsibility for their own actions instead of placing a man's innocent or guilt at her feet for her to decide purely based on whether she regrets the experience or not even months after the fact.

Rape culture in the US has turned innocent until proven guilt on its head. The Minnesota Supreme Court ruling rights this wrong.

By contrast, California's "Yes Means Yes" criminalizes sex if any alcohol is involved, but always it will be the man in the encounter that is the criminal, never the woman no matter how drunk she got herself or how insistent she was to have sex. If the next day she files a criminal complaint just the fact that she was drunk guarantees a conviction.

You honor, it was not my fault that I was I arrested for DWI, I was drunk.

1
TheCremaster 1 point ago +1 / -0

Kind of sounds like something is missing regarding the details. They portray it as if he waited until she was unconscious and he then raped her, but I suspect it may have been more of a "he had sex with me when I was blacked out." The prosecutor may have legit over reached

Preparation for when they insert their (synthetic) DNA in you without your consent. "They were asking for it, wearing those provocative masks." ..."If you ever want to get on a plane again, you're going to take this prick, and maybe even a second time... for you 'fellers I like it when you squeal..."

THIS woman is not stupid enough to be in public drunk off her ass without the help of friends so that someone could not take advantage of the situation!!

ramennov 1 point ago +1 / -0

Prosecutors fucked up, intentionally or no. Why else charge someone under a statute that didn’t strictly apply?

The moment a state or government bows down to 3rd world (immigrant) laws, everything will be lost.

Immigrants must abide by the laws of the country they invade.

ok, will she stop voting for democrats tho?

I'm actually quite surprised, it's Minnesota after all. They're usually chomping at the bit to #metoo anyone with a penis. Regardless of who decided "white girl wasted" would happen. They'll get him on the lesser charges, I'm sure. Also, dude is black - that's a huge plus in Minnesota. Unbelievable this happened in 2017.

Mememagic4all 0 points ago +1 / -1

So let me get this right Democrats say that there is a rape culture. Has a Democrat judge that rules it's not rape if the victim is drunk. Hmm am i missing something?

KungPaoMcChicken 0 points ago +2 / -2

Its like I always say. Sex never occurs enough. So a dude should never ever say no to sex unless its an extreme emergency reason. A woman is drunk, well I have the best test for that. Lay down on your back and without any assistance, if she can mount my huge stallion of a cock, obviously she's not too drunk, thus consent.

“Victims who are intoxicated to the degree that they are unable to give consent are entitled to justice. Our laws must clearly reflect that understanding, and today’s Supreme Court ruling highlights the urgency lawmakers have to close this and other loopholes throughout our (criminal sexual conduct) law,” she said. IT WAS RAPE THAT"S HOW!! How am I a better lawyer than the prosecutor and know WHY this is STILL Felony Rape!? The DOJ Definition of Rape since January 6th 2012 IS - “The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.” Without the Consent of the Victim.... My, my, my, now I do believe according to the above mentioned quotation and from what I extrapolated from the article) she was just that, TOO GOD DAMN DRUNK TO GIVE CONSENT! That is the literal Definition of what the HONK Rape IS!! Why is this Rep trying to amend laws? Whoever prosecuted this case is a Fuggin Half Tard..... or they are trying to make habbening the Uh-Oh Racial Tensions.

“She was asking for it” is now settled law. Unbelievable

This is a terrible misinterpretation. She willingly went home with the guy.
