An employee at a major bank in Florida was so grateful we passed 15 an hour min. She makes roughly 19 an hour and her son works in retail. She said how pleased she was that they would earn more money. I stated "how we going to make more money"? She went on to explain her 20 years of service is worth a lot more than min wage. I responded the 15 an hour is like food stamps, designed to help the poorest among us. She than asked the manager when they raise the min wage 1.5 will she get more money. To which she was told no, just the annual raise if available. It was at that moment she understood. Telling me if she could work at the zoo for 15 an hour why would she work in a high stress office. To which I responded "you wouldn't". In hind sight I should have said those making 100k would prolly get raises.

Pro-tip: Fuck the system and don't spend. Time to collapse this facade.

That's basically how I've been living the past year. Every dime I spend is on things that improve my self-reliance- building raised garden beds, seeds, fruit trees. Luckily I don't need to spend money on tools, I inherited a bunch from my grandparents, and most of those will probably last for my children and grandchildren if I take care of them.

So glad to hear stories like this. There are a few of us that are actually doing much better while the world falls down around us. We are somehow in a unique position with unique skills and ambitions and we are kicking ass. Because we want to kick ass I guess. Your way is different than mine but we have both improved our lives and positions over the last year and that's amazing. We can see clearly that the difference between us and everyone else isn't just Trump support, it's that we are superior people at the end of the day. Leagues above the others. We are what people were and should still be but aren't. Any of us like this need to recognize how strong and powerful we are and should be filled with both pride and gratefulness. We can take this disaster and find the opportunity in it and make our own lives kick ass (until the dictatorship takes everything anyway). A lot of people are suffering now (some totally deserve it) and sometimes I feel bad but I see opportunity to make money and move ahead mentally, physically and spiritually. This is what makes me uncommon and makes me more likely to be on top if the dust ever settles. Of course they will call us privileged but we will all know in our hearts it was our awesomeness and superiority that got us where we are. Those of us who make it out alive/on top need to run this country exclusively from here on it I say.

Now I admit that I may be screwed without a garden and trees in the end for example. I could lose my job and get set back. Any number of things could happen tomorrow to put me waaaaay down on the bottom but that's life and that's not my point. The point is there are victims and losers and then there are people like you and me. I just hope you understand how kick ass you are and that goes for all of you pedes that are finding opportunity in chaos and using it to get stronger and stronger. We are the conquerors and the kangz an shit.

Yeah I've been doing that actually. The China flu has been fucking everyone but me: I've lost 30 pounds, quit smoking, quit drinking, saving tons of money, growing my money, working on my psychology and willpower. I'm thriving here and not going out and spending any money. I went out to eat last night for the first time in months and just hated giving that guy a $10 tip and paying $40 to eat dinner. That's my fucking money!!! And I can cook that good myself too. So yeah, I really don't want to spend any money and haven't been and fuck them all. I don't need to keep the minimum wage crowd employed anymore because they seem to be willing to fuck the rest of us over to get what they want. They're all going to be on UBI in two years anyway and they'll be taking it out of my ass then.

On the flip-side though I do sometimes buy from local businesses run by decent people that I want to help stay in business. And I've bought more MyPillows than I know what to do with lol.
