I hate to laugh, but I grew up on Chicago's south side without a dad. It's true. I don't use that as a crutch. I crawled out of the pit I was born into. Others in the same situation didn't have that fight in them to make it out. People say I should go back to help out, but with others trying to drag me down on my exit out, heckling me, and laughing at me... I'd rather not go back to get pulled under.
