I’m running out of places to eat and shop!

McDonalds has a new chicken sandwich to compete for chickfileA.

Popeye's also introduced a chicken sandwich to compete with Chick-Fil-A.

I just had that, it's actually pretty decent (maybe like 90% as good as Chick-Fil-A) and it comes with better french fries.

Agreed. I'll take Popeye's Cajun fries over Chick-fil-A's waffle fries any day.

Same. I was a frequent customer of theirs. Dropped em cold turkey.

My wife is starting to complain that it's hard to keep up with my puritanical exorcising of woke companies. But to me it's worth it.

My brother told me not everyone can be so dedicated as my husband and I. I thought yes they could they just don’t want to make things harder on themselves. It’s not harder though everytime I crack an RC I think man this tastes even better than a coke and I don’t have to be less white.

The best thing about voting with your wallet is Dominion isn't involved in the count!

Soooo.. not even paying attention to big public companies wokeness, is chicken vendor public?? I don't know regardless,

My wife and I have started making a lot of meals from scratch. Yes it takes time. However our grocery bills dropped to nothing. We eat well on $40/week for both of us in texas. Not exaggerating.

So with that excess money we have actually started to outsource other chores to local businesses. We send out our laundry and have help come in and clean 2x a month.

Also we enjoy spending the time together cooking and impressing each other with our dinners.

Also if time is a big big issue still, or even worse energy is an issue. We figured we don't have to cook from scratch every night if we make a lot and store leftovers like a lot of leftovers. Like x3 or x5 the dinner. Eventually it rolls over and you've self meal prepped the entire week with a variety of things.

Anywho. Just wanted to drop that. We are younger millennials with not the best parents/grand parents so if some of you pedes are rolling your eyes like 'duh' my bad lol.

But for any younger pedes. You can boy cott everything and just cook from scratch yourself, and put the money saved on groceries for other things. Either save, or invest, or outsource some other chores if you'd like to make it really worth it. And also cooking is fun. We don't have a big kitchen either so don't think that is a must.

Try it out. Get some basic seasonings. Get some chicken leg quarters, big bag, bone in. Get some potatos, big bag. Get some fresh vegetables ( or canned, or frozen) whatever. Flour, oil, eggs, sugar. Fruits, honey.

Make some biscuits. Devine the chicken, cut it up, marinade it, season it, slice/dice/boil potatoes. Cook up the vegetables. Get that whole oven going, use all the burners on your stove.

You'll come out with some good biscuits and veggies, and tasty chicken - soft boiled potatoes (Mr, or mrs) with just some salt and pepper, little butter is so good maybe throw some rosemary on there.

I mean you can make a ton and per meal it will literally be like $1-$2 good ole fashion home cooking.

Can't. Fucking. Beat. It.

Then you can boycott everything.

I also have not visited a Chick-fil-A since the CEO told us to all go home and get our fooking shine boxes.

Oh, that guy was great. He made those shoes look like fooking mirrors.

I punished them for a month. They’re still pretty based. I checked out their “about us” a while ago. No woke bullshit, lots of wholesome values.

Plus, those peach shakes are excellent

I have to go out of my way to get it, so it's not a big deal for me. Except when i travel to Georgia once a year. In that case, it sits right next to the hotel i stay at for a week. I would eat lunch there every day all week, cause it was good, and they stood for what i believed in.

That changed, and i refuse to eat there again. Boy has asked me a number of times when we have been out and about if we could stop. After that many no's, he has ceased asking. (plus, my fried chicken is out of this world!!)

Yea, and they were sneakers. Dude should have just blown his coke can black mamba instead. After he was done cornholing his wife.

Heroic.

I had some free coupons to eat there and got the breakfast sandwiches. It looks like someone just sprayed a piece of chicken with the hose and put it in between two buns. I don’t get the hype.

The operations side of the organization is fine. It is the woke foundation side that is giving everyone heartburn which is why I have barely gone there.

Fast food is fast food. Burger Crap, Crapdonalds, Wendy's Shit, Chick Fi Shit... they are all the same. Frozen shit reheated and served to you on a shitty cardboard bun plus fries that are 10% potate and 90% fat, plus shitty carbonated drink that dissolves nails. Yum yum. Enjoy diarrhea.

There is a literal metric fuckton of places where you can get a good burger that isn't 90% reconstituted soy. A fried chicken that actually clucked at some point. Or, hell, make your own. It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to make a burger or to fry a chicken breast or a thigh.

And if you feel like drinking something that's bad for you then for fuck's sake drink a beer, not soda.

Stop eating fast food. OK, maybe not entirely. Guilty as charged, I get a breakfast burrito and cheese tots from Sonic once a month and then have yje shits for two days. Once a month, maybe. Or not even that. Fuck fast food. It's not food. It's processed cardboard, soy and corn syrup designed to make you feel like you're full, but just HAVE to have some more.

It's bad for you.
