If I didn't think 'defund the police' was a harbinger of a race war, I'd honestly be on board by now. The good guys are the guys that leave the force when asked to enforce unconstitutional laws. The people who fill those positions are the people that will enforce them.

Stop judging your institutions by the caliber of the people within them. It distracts from the real problem, which is that police have far too much power over the citizens.
