When I was in Psychology back in 2005-2007, there was a growing schism between the social/soft science of the discipline (which is very much Psychoanalysis and the offshoots of that), and the hard science disciplines of Bio and NeuroPsych.
Those latter two disciplines are doing just fine, but most of the intelligent people in academia shifted fully to a biological focus.
What's left of "Psychology" is inexorably getting pushed into Sociology, which is essentially trash communist propaganda

I totally agree. Although they are starting to creep that gender crap into Neuro now.
