I disagree. I think most cops are genuinely good people and do nothing wrong. They simply want to protect their community. While it is true that there are bad cops, it must be kept in perspective. The amount of bad cops is extremely low and those bad cops can be dealt with internally.
If people are angry at unjust laws then the entire blame is on the voters who elected those politicians in office. Change those voting habits and you will get rid of unjust laws.
Actually....the City Council voted to make it illegal for police to use Qualified Immunity in defense of their actions.
If it applies to any police actions in the city, expect an exit of State Police Officers from supporting roles in the city.
