Nancy Pelosi is an eighty year old women who has repeatedly submitted herself to the surgeon's knife in a desperate attempt to hide her age. That kind of butchery eventually catches up to you.

It is telling that she did so in representing ultra-progressive San Francisco. Her constituents cannot stand the notion of a woman aging gracefully, whose grey hair and wrinkles merit respect rather than disgust. They cannot view a woman's worth except through her youthful appearance.
