The vast majority of those that I've known that have gotten it describe it the same, like the flu but the symptoms are just a little different. Like the balance and severity of the symptoms is different than the flu. Mostly more aching, shortness of breath, and extreme tired.
It depends on the person, but it can be way more than a bad cold. I got pretty sick from it a year ago, but didn't seek treatment mainly out of fear of the bills.
