When I was discharged I got a bus ticket to the city I was recruited in. Family had moved years prior. I had no where to go so I slept on the streets while I worked in a factory for 7$/hr. I eventually made enough to buy a car for $400. It was my home until I saved enough for a down payment on an apartment. Since then I have never been out if work and built a career for myself and family.
It boils my blood when I'm forced to go to diversity meetings where I'm lectures about my white privilege.
There's two kinds of homeless veterans on the street.
Drugged-out lowlife junkies who can't go to the VA because they'll be turned away for being a lowlife.
Liars.
Every veteran can go to the VA for aid. These pricks on the street are either injecting your handouts into their arms, or they went to a Goodwill and picked up a hat and scribbled on a sign for handouts.
Each illegal minor costs the US taxpayers $40,000 PER MONTH.
15,000 illegal minors in US = $600,000,000 PER MONTH.
