I do enjoy hearing folks suggesting blasting it oh, perhaps with a nuke. Think dead whale on the beach. But instead of blubber coming down it would be raining 20 ton shipping containers!

If I had to solve the problem I'd have them digging a new section of canal around that sucker right now!
