Tens of millions of people have been newly vaccinated. If there is disease enhancement because of the vaccine, then we should start seeing a rather large uptick in deaths and hospitalizations.
I've been tracking carefully in CA, mostly my County and a large pop one where one of daughters and fam live, and last two or three weeks in larger County I saw a jump in patients followed by a flat week and mid this week a sharp jump in ICU cases even as a notable drop in reg Covid patients was happening!
This is absolutely NOT a pattern that happened before. Only similar was quite subtly and slowly in May and then Sept in the past year of monitoring when there a similar switch as recoveries outpaced remaining ICU and with just a small increase of very sick over multiple weeks.
So I scoped about 6 other large pop Counties yesterday that had Tues/Wed data uploaded to the State site- about 2 out of 3 had the same alarming pattern over just a day or two this week. 😶
PS
This is combined with really low and dropping rapidly positive rates on testing- well below 2 per 100k avg now.
And between yesterday and today a drastic drop in both reg pt and ICU just got reported.
Note that deaths take longer to queue up or get reported in almost all CA Counties- could be anywhere from a few days to a month for that datapoint to be accurate- but they have stopped dropping.
BUT- Cases haven't been this low since the week before the BLM surge end of May- even with drastically more testing- yet DEATHS are double that timeframe.

What outlier did Pfizer remove?
