Isn’t a gas tax already a mileage tax? You fill with gas because you use it. The more gas you buy, the more you are driving. So to tax gas and then add a mileage tax on top of it is double taxing people for driving to and from work, school, etc. Horrible for the middle class and Pete Buttigieg sucks.
