basebus --- Flashback brother. Had the YZ100 -- the first monoshock one and then moved up to RM 125. Best days of my life.

Yes. I can't believe I am still alive considering what we did on those bikes.

I had an RM60 when I was 10 burned the pistons out then moved up to the RM80 eventually the RM500. So much fucking fun! Loved those Suzuki's.

I still have never rode a dirt bike. That's a bucket list item.

Fun city. The protective clothing out today is incredible and looks great, so buy some and wear it. Learn how to crash and fall safely.

Lol...hell yeah. I've played football and hockey...and grew up fighting...veteran...so no lack of bumps and bruises in my day...I am starting to get a bit older though 🥴

I was just talking to a kid on one of those broken foot scooters about an hour ago. He was riding his dirt bike with all his protective gear on except for his boots. Heel checked the ground when his friend stopped short and now has eight screws in his heel and lower leg.

I told him it was a good thing he's young.

Shit man...I renember kicking a 'kick-stand' with a bare toe as a kid and splitting it wide-open. When our brakes were low we'd stop with our feet. Barefoot, regardless. We pushed shit. It was character. Tough as fuck. And the neighborhood girls loved it.

My dad got me Honda 50 when I was 5. When I wrecked it he waited for me to get up so we could continue. Good dads make future men. No dads make future inmates.

Mini Trail 70!

I really needed that custom tail light guard. The stock one didn't protect crap.

KEk. I love it. Some sixth grade boys were fighting at my school, got caught, got suspended. They asked if I thought that what they did was bad, and their jaws dropped when I told them that, back in my day (good old 1970s-1989s), boys were expected to fight, in order to know how to grow up to be men...

Overheard in a biker bar - "I'd rather push my Harley than ride a fucking-rice burner."

Harley's are so delicate! I tried to help a friend sell one and that bike hated to run.

My Hondas and Suzuki started every day.

In high school I had a 1979 Suzuki RM400, and holy shit was it a beast. I was the only one that could start it because you had to get the kick start lever to the exact top of the stroke and kick it hard or it would come back at you and really hurt your foot. It would do a wheelie in 4th gear. Shit now I want a dirt bike.

A friend had that back and it was a beast just like u said. He eventually ran it right into an Oak tree on some trails. After he got out of the hospital and recovered he got right back on it. Crazy days but great times.
