I have been clean for three years, the five years prior I was addicted to heroin and fentanyl. I have personally witnessed several over doses.. my humble opinion is there are two possibilities. The fact he was positive for fentanyl does not mean he was high on it as it stays in your system for 72 hours.. if he did swallow it, the way he died is consistent with a way someone who overdosed would die (lack of breathe, panic, loss of consciousness) plus I saw another video that was leaked showing a prior police altercation Floyd was involved in and he attempted to swallow fentanyl

Or maybe he was just out jogging.

-----They found the chewed up pills in the back of the police cruiser, that the investigators "accidentally missed" the first time round.
The fentanyl wouldn't even have to be swallowed. As soon as it hit the saliva it would've been straight into his system.
If he'd swallowed it, he might actually have had a better chance of surviving since it would've had to make it through his stomach first.
