This is why, even when my kids get upset that they don't get student of the week at school, I suck it up and ask them what they can do better in class to try and earn it.

When really, I just want my kids to have the best everything, I have to be an adult and let them grow. Adulting is hard, anyone who thinks otherwise isn't doing it right.
