They are pushing this narrative HARD. They’ve already made commercials on it. It’s because when China starts to do more and more shit to actively take control of the US, they can label any negative news against them as racism.
We all know, as soon as anyone cries racism, the cancel culture comes into full affect. Any negative press against them is going to be labeled racist. When this happens, Twitter, Facebook, and all other social media will use this excuse to continue to censor all the media.
Some Jews threw in with the Bolsheviks. Thought their lives would be better that way than under the Tsar. They were wrong.
Marxism as an ideology is antithetical to Judaism -- the religion, as it were. Ten Commandments. "Thou shalt not covet" is antithetical to Communism. Communism's whole rational is through envy.
Same Torah says not to worship idols. Some make the mistake of thinking this means Zeus. Nope, also means Communism.
Lotta crazy Jews, sure. Lotta crazy non-Jews too. We got Biden. We got Kamala. We got Crazy Mazey, whatever her name is from Hawaii. We got Ilhan. And AOC. And yeah, there's Jewish ones too.
Judaism is a religion. You can argue it's also a nation. It's not a race. Ruth was a convert. She's the ancestor of King David. King David's house will someday give birth to the Messiah. That means the Messiah will have an ancestor who was a convert.
Sorry, that's not an accurate representation. 6 of the 13 original cabinet members of the USSR were Jewish. And the architects of Marxism were also Jewish. I believe that to be factual.
I'll defer to you on matters of the Torah, as I have only read about 20% of it and that was awhile ago.
I have a theory I'm working on, and if you'd like to give me input, I'd welcome it.
The more strict versions of Judaism are so ideologically pure that those who can't live up to the standards (or deal with the implied guilt) naturally move to the opposite spectrum and become capable of some rather evil worldviews. I suspect this is similar in all religions that border on the puritanical side. Since Judaism has been around so long, and has such a unique history, having some counter-sects dedicated to the opposite of God seems to make perfect sense.
I'm a believer in Locke, who suggested that we are all born equally blank slates. This means I don't believe in inherited innocence or guilt, and I certainly don't think anyone is the "chosen people".
When it comes to the manor monotheistic religions, it is asinine to break them down to the 3 major ones because there are so many different branches of each. Some of each are reasonable and some of each are awful.
As someone of White Christian heritage, I'm probably a bit biased towards Christianity, but at my core, I'm an American who calls anyone who shares my values a brother.
There's a Rabbi Ken Spiro online who has a series of lectures on Jewish Histories. They should be free on certain websites.
Among his themes of Judaism he has one he often comes back to: "There's no anti-Semite that's more dangerous to the Jews than a lapsed Jew who is trying to out-gentile the gentiles."
Marx was just one example.
These histories were recorded before Soros was a household name. Otherwise, he might qualify.
A forgotten example was Pablo Christiani, a Jew who converted to Christianity, became a priest, and proceeded to try to oppress the Jews. There's even a play where he appears in, "The Disputation" where he forces a debate between himself and Nachmanides. (Moses ben Nahman)
(Disputations were forced debates between Christians and Jews on theology. Jews tended to avoid them like the plague, since there was no neutral arbiter or freedom of speech. A line in the play, Nachmanides says: "When the mouse debates the lion, he is not sure whether he is more afraid of losing the debate or winning it.")
So the adolescent impulse of deciding your parents are idiots and you're going to storm out of the house to make your own way -- there's been plenty of Jews who followed that. And then finding their own false idols.
Anyway, I'm also terribly concerned about where America is going, and if we already crossed the event threshold. I used to think: "If things get bad in America, there's always Israel." But even Israel is falling prey to Covid madness. (I've defended Israel many times. It was Left-wing anti-Israel activism that was my own red-pill moment, and made me conservative. But now, Israel has been pushing the vaccine passport -- you have the vaccine, you can mingle in society. Otherwise, stay home, never leave your house, lose your job. I'm aghast at this horrible policy.)
Solid and interesting comment.
It's too late for me to respond with anything that will add to this discourse.
I'm sure we can pick this up on other threads in the near future.
If you'd like to comment on the Khazarian Jews, I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts. The whole 13th Tribe interests me, and may even tie into what we're discussing. I think it's reasonable that these were the "jews" who became Bolsheviks. They would not be Semetic.
There's not much I know about the Khazars. There was a small kingdom that converted to Judaism. Why? Well, from what I understand, this was during a period of heavy animosity between the Christians and the Muslims. The Jews were kind of acting as a go-between, especially as merchants, able to conduct trade between these two enemies that weren't on speaking terms with each other. The Khazars might have converted for that reason, to stay neutral between the Christian - Muslim wars? Maybe, but that's really just a guess.
There's a legend about them... and I doubt it's true, but it goes like this: The Khazarian king was thinking of converting to one of the three monotheistic religions. He had a priest, a rabbi, and an iman make their case. (This is sounding like a joke, isn't it?)
Once they made their appeals, he said: "Well, one of you -- the Christian -- says Jesus is the son of G-d, but the other two say he was not. One of you -- The Muslim -- says Mohammad is the prophet of Allah, but two of you say he was not. But all three of you agree that G-d gave the Torah to the Jews at Mount Sinai, so I'll go with that."
But as I mentioned somewhere, a convert is considered just as Jewish as Moses. Again, referring back to the book of Ruth a Moabite who converted to Judaism.-- not only was her conversion sufficient enough to make her Jewish, but King David was one of her descendants. (Interestingly enough, Goliath was the descendant of Ruth's sister, Orpah, who stayed among the Moabites. So the famous David vs. Goliath battle was a fight between two distant cousins).
So by that logic, if the Khazarians converted to Judaism, they'd be considered just as Jewish as anyone else.
Were the Jewish Bolsheviks made up of Khazarian-descended Jews? I don't know. I don't think the error the Bolsheviks made was due to their blood or biological background. It was a failure of their parents' generation to instill a strong sense of Judaism in them to keep them from falling for the spirit of the age -- Communism, which they saw as "the next big thing."
It might seem easy to condemn them, but we're certainly no better today. There are plenty of Reform synagogues (and liberal churches) that loooove to talk about Critical Race Theory, Social Justice, Gay Marriage, Transgenderism, and all that other crap.
For crying out loud, when my daughter was born, we signed on with a program that sent her a free Jewish children's book every month. We got them for years, until they sent a newsletter where they were bragging about participating in Drag Queen Story Hour at their home synagogue.
I canceled our subscription after that.
