It's gross prosecurorial misconduct but prosecutors are protected.
Just know that while they WILL be taking away protections for ALL law enforcement, including the majority of good ones out there, prosecutors who lie, falsify evidence, and actively work to deprive people if their Constitutional rights, will retain their protections.
