So I’m gona go out on a limb and first say I bet that blood comes from little Chinese sweat shop workers. After they make the last stitch they have to jab their little blistered finger and drain some blood into the bottom of a shoe.
Joking aside now I really do not think that is sanitary. Isn’t there some kind of bio-hazard protocol when it comes to blood? Has to be disposed of properly so you don’t spread hepatitis and HIV and whatever else? I don’t know for sure, but at work there are steps to follow and a whole dedicated kit for blood spills. Complete with a bio-hazard bag to dispose of the bio waste. Either way I hope it is just imitation blood at least.
