Man someone the other day started with "Have you heard about how bad covid has gotten in place x" I just said So? Well then they tried to guilt me "but what about the elderly and people at risk." I responded, We've been in a pandemic for a year byt now they should know only self quarantining will protect them and if they must go out wear a mask, distance yourself and keep their hands to themselves, that's all they can do if they want to minimize because none of these things have truly protected anyone.
by then the person was just trying to circle back about how I should feel about those poor people in place x and what they're going through. I said, I haven't got covid I've been in lockdown for a better half of a year and from what I saw place X never really had proper lockdown and people never took it that seriously. I'm not a bit surprised it's happening that way, it was to be expected.
So I am the dick, because I hold people accountable. It does feel good to speak the truth to someone who just wants to appear compassionate without thinking about things.

I’ve been running 105 fever for 3 days, on and off with meds. No other symptoms. Ran rapid Covid and a+b flu test yesterday. All negative. Bloodwork, urinalysis, X-rays clear. So they feel certain it’s viral.
The entire clinic is befuddled, but everyone agrees my best bet was/is that it was Covid. Every single one of them. Anything else causing that high of fever in an middle age adult cannot be good. They did run 2nd longer Covid test, and if that’s negative, will go to hospital to run a 3rd Covid Variant test. They are counting on it to be Covid, bc that’s the safest thing it can be. What does that say???????
Why? They’ve been great and have went at this hard. They are Covid skeptic already- a Baptist clinic on a Baptist university campus, and they hate the overblown bull crap about Covid.
They’ve ran so many tests I’ve never had before- everything fine. Not one indication of bacterial infection, lungs are clear, etc
Covid is real. It’s way overblown- but it is real. They agree with me on that. Rapid tests are often wrong. So they drew blood for a 2nd test, should get that today. If that’s negative- they will send it off to major hospital who does variant testing.
They’re also looking at west Nile and Lyme disease, and will send sample to CDC if no answer found.
I don’t know about you, but to me- 105.1 fever is physically painful, especially the violent shivers between 101-103 degrees. And when you don’t have one single symptom besides the fever, and zero signs of bacterial infection..... what do you expect a doctor to do?

I stopped believing it was "real" the moment the flu stats came out. The flu has never taken a vacation before, why did it start now?
Subtract the bloated stats, then subtract the average annual flu deaths and what are you left with? Zero. Zero fucking covid deaths.

Go to the farm and ranch store and get some ivermectin and take it with some zinc. Get some sun or vitamin D while your at it.
