Be careful what you wish for. Remember they want to label everyone who is a patriot in this country as a "domestic terrorist". Do you really want to give the FBI the power to say "We're looking at you for no reason at all exept we suspect you might have been walking around the capital on the 6th" and then have that be all they need to permanently ban you from ever passing a background check again, effectively nullifying your 2A rights with little more than a check box on their computer database. And there wouldn't be a damn thing you could do about it.
