I went gift shopping this past week for a little kid's birthday party. Every gift idea I had was made in China with no alternative. I didn't buy anything. Instead I showed up to the party and told the kid about the experience. Of course I also promised I'd find something in due time. It was a good lesson. The kind all of us should teach our kids.

Excellent, I do the same, I prefer don't buy anything and do a good research till I find it used or online Made in USA or worst case, I don't buy. Unless is something extremely necessary like a phone, a computer part or a car part that I can't find American substitute new or used. Good lesson for that kid. If everyone in this country do the same, China goes to hell, their economy will collapse.
