Toronto, Canada has had the longest lockdown of any city in North America. About 3 weeks ago they partially reduced the lockdown (from grey zone to red zone) and within a week were taking about a third wave.
They just announced today that hair salons and barbershops and nail salons will be able to open April 12. They also just announced today that the variants will have a 60% increase of hospitalization and death 100% increase of admittance to ICU.
These numbers are based on their models so its all BS but it's funny how they put this out and say its safe to open these other shops after having them closed for 6 months because It was too dangerous to open, while saying infections and deaths are going to rise.
