Toronto, Canada has had the longest lockdown of any city in North America. About 3 weeks ago they partially reduced the lockdown (from grey zone to red zone) and within a week were taking about a third wave.
They just announced today that hair salons and barbershops and nail salons will be able to open April 12. They also just announced today that the variants will have a 60% increase of hospitalization and death 100% increase of admittance to ICU.
There are ridiculous people saying its finally okay to get a haircut, which shows if they just stopped testing, reporting any numbers, and first thing tomorrow morning announced we beat covid! It disappeared over night! that all the people who finally feel important and like they have a purpose, or getting off on controlling others, are actually blindly following whatever they're told and will happily go back to normal based on as soon as they're told to and not what is actually happening. Which means they don't even believe all this crap.
