Here's something else: They don't really need to. They've been instituting totalitarianism inch by inch to the point where even an armed populace are used to it and dont care. The guns have been neutered. Obama instituted his illegal agenda and the 1776ers didn't do anything. The fact of the matter is soft times make for a soft populace. We think things are hard typing on our powerful, cheap computers and using our high speed internet. They're not. They could be so much worse.
Where things are going, I don't know. Right now, Biden is domestically neutered by the states coming out en masse to ignore his federal agenda (Arizona Senate just passed a bill making Biden's federal gun control laws unenforceable in Arizona. AZ is officially a gun sanctuary state now.........how does it feel Biden? Getting the Trump treatment and getting ignored by states?) Biden is also internationally neutered because Middle Eastern countries like Israel, UAE, and Saudi Arabia are picking up the slack and going to do the Iran/terrorist fighting that Biden won't do. But a future President Harris might be totalitarian enough to send in some armed forces to force compliance from the states, which would break the deal for me and make me move to another country.
1776 isn't going to happen until EVERYTHING is gone. That's a matter of fact. There exists not a SINGLE person in the entire world today or in the past 50 years who was on the level of the Revolutionaries who brought us the Articles of Confederation and the US Constitution. So we might as well strap in and watch closely
