I’m not seeing why people are so frustrated with a mileage driven tax. It makes sense assuming you eliminate the current tax on gas.
Electric vehicles and high mpg cars have been skating around paying their share of highway/road taxes for years. Forcing people to pay extra when they overuse critical infrastructure is about as capitalistic as you can get.
