Definitely something I think Trump needs to be more proactive on. His supporters have been consistently attacked, smeared, doxed, censored, banned, etc, while those on the left can riot, assault people, destroy buildings, property, and never got any legal charges against them.
If you're going to charge a retired veteran for 'sedition' for taking a selfie in the Capitol Rotunda, than those attempting to burn down a courthouse should be imprisoned for life.
Amid setbacks, prosecutors abandon some claims in U.S. Capitol riot cases
While before it was charges against individuals, now that they are trying to fabricate conspiracy charges against Trump supporting groups, I expect to see more vigorous defense of everyone who was there on Jan 6th.
Also, the legal process for those charged is clearly different than what leftest experienced, prompting more to speak out as its clearly become a political persecution.
I agree I would have liked to see a little more proactive approach, but at only 2 1/2 months later, we aren't really very far from Jan 6th or the processes and proceedings surrounding it.
Who would have imagined. Making shit up requires evidence. It's an embarrassment to the legal profession how many false claims and hyperbole there was. Let's just call this the "woke" approach to the law.

The claims from the Jan 6th protest are falling apart, https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-capitol-arrests-justice/amid-setbacks-prosecutors-abandon-some-claims-in-u-s-capitol-riot-cases-idUSKBN2BG30C
