As one of the protesters who went to the Capital who did nothing illegal and was a witness to zero violence perpetrated by Trump supporters, this means a lot to me. To come home and have the whole world label me as a domestic terrorist was an eye opening and really tough experience. I’m just a small town patriot with a family and now I’ve had to scrub my identity off of social media. I have friends who lashed out at me, senators who demonized me and I’m constantly wondering if the FBI is going to show up at my door. Even this site constantly has people bitterly explaining how I never should have gone or how I should have done more. I’ve been depressed and more isolated than ever before. I’ve been gaslit 24/7 for 2 months now. It’s just nice to know in the end, Trump knows. I hope it gets better from here.

I was there with you SC. All I saw was love and friendship. 3-400 people attacking police and entering the capitol out of a million plus is nothing. Imagine what a city would look like if an antifa blm riot had a million. If the 6th was an insurrection, DC would have been returned to nature.
