The claims from the Jan 6th protest are falling apart, https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-capitol-arrests-justice/amid-setbacks-prosecutors-abandon-some-claims-in-u-s-capitol-riot-cases-idUSKBN2BG30C

Amid setbacks, prosecutors abandon some claims in U.S. Capitol riot cases

While before it was charges against individuals, now that they are trying to fabricate conspiracy charges against Trump supporting groups, I expect to see more vigorous defense of everyone who was there on Jan 6th.

Also, the legal process for those charged is clearly different than what leftest experienced, prompting more to speak out as its clearly become a political persecution. I agree I would have liked to see a little more proactive approach, but at only 2 1/2 months later, we aren't really very far from Jan 6th or the processes and proceedings surrounding it.

In terms of the 'legal process', compare the 6 Jan people to any leftist riot.

The leftists don't get charged. If they get arrested at all, they're released by sun rise the next day. They're allowed to fund raise any GoFundMe/etc. Any cash bail they do get is paid by donations from wealthy leftists. They get held up as heroes by arm chair leftists and politicians.

For the 6 Jan people, for taking selfies in the Rotunda or standing in the Speaker's desk, they get charged with several charges including treason. Note, a conviction of treason can carry a death penalty. Dozens of charges are stacked on these individuals. They are held without bail. They are actively banned from fundraising for legal defense. They get smeared by the media, smeared by their elected officials, and fired from their jobs.

Sure, 6 Jan people may eventually beat all but the simplest of trespassing charges, but its likely going to take them years and tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees.

When President Trump moves back in the WH he can issue pardons for all who were arrested and make retribution’s back to them.
