Not rioters, protesters.

And it wasn't an insurrection. It was a protest.

And it was far less violent and destructive than anything we've witnessed from the left in the BLM/Antifa riots, burning, looting, arson and killing

Or when Trump was falsely accused of benefiting from 'Russian collusion in the election' to win in 2016 and there were riots in the streets for his inauguration

OR when they stormed the gates of the White House and the Secret Service had to rush Trump to the basement--something mocked by the left at the time.

Yes. It's been mischaracterized to the point where people here didn't even balk when the title had "trump defends rioters" in it.

Trump did no such thing because there wasn't any rioting; there was a peaceful protest, and then a splinter group broke off and walked inside the capitol, encountering no real resistance and without weapons.
