"...it's because of the decimation of the male only workplace/sport/hobby" I would add "male-only high school" and "male-only club." Single-sex education is a valuable maturing experience--for girls as well as boys.

Male only high schools are great. Coed teenage education is a social experiment in the grand history of humanity

I’m not so sure about high school in general

But even within high school ... sports used to be the safe place for toxic masculinity

I disagree with that one. The problem is our schools, where the mental and physical health of all our children, not just the boys, are actively degraded.

All of the solutions for problems in our schools are perverse. The culture of our teachers and school administrations is foul.

I've watched some of Jordan Peterson's videos, and saw him explain how he stumbled on a huge need among teenage-and-younger boys for education, both historical and philosophical. The man is harmless, a classically-trained scholar who talks in a scholarly manner. The attacks on him are vividly deranged, and remarkably stupid.

Jordan is probably one of the smartest people on earth right now. Not kidding. His intellect is massive and he can eloquently state his reasoning and point of view.

You don’t get it because you’re a woman ... I know it sounds sexists ... but it’s even more sexist for a woman to pretend to know what men feel ...

The only guys (can't call 'em men) I've ever known who were completely undependable, whiny, fuckups have been those who'd been raised in a feminine household.

Another 'ruined masculinity' subset are those who've been raised in a dominant wife/milquetoast husband environment: the sons turn out gay because they've bonded with the wrong gender model.

It’s not bonded with the wrong gender ... it’s that there’s no bonding at all ... no hunting trips, no collegial sports, no only male rough workplace, no military service ... just a world of “good little boys”
