Penis shaped course track aside, what that looks like to me is a ship having ruddder/power issues thinking they had it beat, and entered the canal just to have their "bush fix" fail at the worst possible time, and the company trying to blame a wind gust (please, hundreds of container ships a week go through there and they have never had this issue before?) So they can call it an "act of god" so the ships backed up behind them don't get the massive payout from the insurance company.
