The point is this: A threat indicates a line not to be crossed. It goes both ways, so when you make the threat you should be prepared.

Those who compromise hate this country as much as the left. When your opponent knows you hate violence and do pretty much anything to avoid it, they become a madness. When you refuse to even talk about what is "too far" or "no go," they become the sickness.
At what point is our self-restraint in the face of the consequences going to evolve for lack of remedy into the time when evil is called good and good evil? Maybe, we're there already.

I'm still on-board with secession since that will be much more attractive to many more people who aren't ready to pick up a gun or leave their families to fight a war. Unfortunately, since few people will even talk about it, that's probably the "no shit miracle" to which you referred.
No, the miracle I have in mind, which would be a real miracle, would be a nationwide revival in Biblical Christianity.
I also believe seccession is losing, since the dems will obviously have a precedent for using the military to intervene and will necessarily use it.
The other option, a revolution, would include most of the military being on our side.
You haven't thought about how secession will happen. There are some thoughtful discussions about it here on this site. You should check them out. The military will be a non-factor. Done right, the majority of the country will be ours.
Thinking enough of the military will ignore orders and simply jump ship to our side is a big risk. I think there would be some, but probably not enough.

With what army? They will have lost a ton of soldiers to the new country. Also, I'm not talking piecemeal here. It has to be done as a coalition.
Additionally, the people in this thread, including the OP, is talking about fighting a war anyway so why not try the peaceful route first? Then if they want to fight a war, then we'll be fighting them and beating them legally. They can't arrest anyone for shooting back at that point. Our new country will just say, "Do whatever you need to defend OUR country."

With what? The majority of the country will join the secession and there will only be random blue islands remaining for the Left. Blue islands with no means of production since they had long been supported by revenue generated from red states/counties. They would be crushed under their own weight very quickly. You set up state-level electoral colleges to prevent blue cities from controlling state-level elections and NO mail-in voting for any reason. We leave and create a system that shuts out Commies from any type of power. We know what to plan against and put the proper laws in-place to stop it from happening again.

Good luck finding enough people to join. We can't even get people on our side to take off the masks in the supermarket. You expect everyone to join a shooting war? If you're talking about man-power, a serious secession movement is the way to go. This way you get 55, 65, 75 year-olds to join the fight. Or the disabled. People who won't be able to take part in a shooting war or revolution even if they wanted to.
