If her parents have had the vaccine, then why do you need it?

Does the vaccine not already protect her parents.

96
sixfingerdildo 96 points ago +96 / -0

it's a retro vaccine. it only protects the people around you.

i'm losing my sense of humor about this and everything. that video with the 12 year old girl in England... that girl should have been kicking and screaming for her life. just like we all should be.

Dragon518 15 points ago +15 / -0

The only thing that upsets me more is the way they don’t even get punished when they actually do get caught. To me it’s the worst type of crime. The victim is impacted for life and the perp gets probation or little jail time.

Why the fuck would I take an experimental vaccine that isn't FDA approved in order to protect others, all while it still allows me to supposedly spread it and while I still need to wear a mask and social distance? No, fuck off. If you don't like it, stay the hell home.

1
HockeyMom4Trump 1 point ago +1 / -0

We are drowning in a sea of stupid policies

43
Pierre_Delectoes 43 points ago +44 / -1

THIS. Tell these stupid guilt-tripping faggots that neither Fuhrer Biden, Commandant Fauci, nor the FDA and CDC have found that the vaccine protects you from infecting others. At this point in time the effect is PURELY for yourself.

It is likely the the vaccine does prevent you from spreading the virus, but our government will not admit that because it would mean they lose their justification for infringing on everyone's freedoms with mask and distancing orders.

So take advantage of it. When someone asks why you're not getting vaccinated and accuses you of not caring about others, tell them the vaccine doesn't prevent transmission. It just protects the recipient and you're foregoing the vaccine to make sure others more deserving get the vaccine. Then watch their heads implode.

34
CajunSoldier 34 points ago +33 / --1

You can't spread asymptomatically. If you don't have symptoms you either don't have the virus or you have just a small load that there is nothing to spread because your rocking immune system has destroyed it already.

5
RussianAgent13 5 points ago +6 / -1

There could be a few capsules in someone's nose, but that's not enough to make anyone sick unless they have no immune system to begin with..

3
kornesque 3 points ago +3 / -0

1
Pierre_Delectoes 1 point ago +1 / -0

We know that, but the government refuses to admit it, so take advantage of it to frustrate the retards that believe their bullshit.

3
Dragon518 3 points ago +3 / -0

Hahahahaha I have been doing this for a while now. It actually works quite well. I spin it into me just being concerned about the ones that really need the vaccine and the conversation ends quickly and without screaming

29
War_Hamster 29 points ago +30 / -1

Does the vaccine not already protect her parents.

It actually makes them more vulnerable to any future strains, according to this pedigreed researcher.

5
Ocineaa 5 points ago +5 / -0

I hope it doesn't end up like Marek's disease. It was a vaccine for a version of chicken herpes. Well it ended up making it 99% fatal for all chickens without enough of the vaccine and the vaccinated chickens shed the virus at 10,000% more than before.

If this vaccine does that it might end up being the end of humanity as we know it.

AsaNisiMAGA 75 points ago +75 / -0

If I understand correctly.... there is no claim that the experimental drug stops transmission, only that it lessens symptoms if infected. If it works as advertised then it only protects the person who got it not the people that they encounter. Getting this jab literally doesn't protect others, only one's self. This was how we explained it to family that were freaking out that we didn't get it. They still wouldn't see us and tried to bully us into getting it. Because they are virtue signaling bullies. 🤷‍♀️

32
Colonel_Chestbridge 32 points ago +32 / -0

Theoretically it should prevent transmission. The antibodies you produce from the vaccine are not for the virus, they are for the spike protein on the surface. The spike protein is what allows the virus to enter cells and replicate. If the vaccine prevents that, it will not replicate.

That said, it is just a bunch of experimental bullshit without adequate testing.

12
AsaNisiMAGA 12 points ago +12 / -0

Thanks for the information. If that is the case then why the insistence that people who get the vax will still need masks, distancing, etc.? Honest question not being snarky. And yes a bunch of experimental BS without adequate testing.

11
ScullyMully 11 points ago +11 / -0

It's like the scrap drives during WWII: They were more useful in giving the public a sense of unity and common purpose than they were in gathering resources.

The masks are more "we're all in this together" public theater than public health. They just can't or won't wind them down now that the inoculations are widespread.

4
AsaNisiMAGA 4 points ago +4 / -0

Thank you. That makes sense. Unfortunately.

4
ScullyMully 4 points ago +4 / -0

As mentioned, the inoculations are the protein spikes without the virus, so your body produces antibodies that should prevent the actual virus from anchoring to your respiratory system and reproducing if you're exposed.

So, once you've had the shots and had time to produce T-cells, etc, you have no need to mask, as you shouldn't be a viable host to the virus.

You might mask as a courtesy, or to bow to social pressure, but it's like wearing a condom for birth control after having a vasectomy.

Which might be a good comeback.

4
cryogen 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's true of 1 of the 3. The other two are mRNA instructions for your own cells to produce the spike on their surfaces.... So it literally turns your immune system against itself for a while. The end result is supposed to be the same, however, since the number of coopted cells with the spike should be vastly outnumbered, and therefore the winning immune system will have the antibodies for the spike afterwards.

1
ScullyMully 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks for the clarification

3
AsaNisiMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

That is a good comeback. Yoinking for future use.

9
Colonel_Chestbridge 9 points ago +9 / -0

Because it is supposedly 95% effective, and that 5% chance of infection goes down further the more people that are vaccinated.

Though this is already about twice as effective as the seasonal flu shot, and I think it does still lessen symptoms if you do still get infected. So it’s pretty much just about keeping control of you.

2
AsaNisiMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thank you.

6
TheDeSantis 6 points ago +7 / -1

If that is the case then why the insistence that people who get the vax will still need masks, distancing, etc.?

Reading this is like horseshoe theory in action and made my brain hurt.

Why do YOU think they insist on all that crap?

It’s 1000% more valuable for you to both consider and answer that question yourself.

9
AsaNisiMAGA 9 points ago +9 / -0

The theatrical nature of the new enforced rituals isn't lost on me. I'm trying to come up with strategies for replying to people who want me to play along.

1
Uh-hickabuh 1 point ago +1 / -0

Haven't you ever pointed something out by asking a question you already knew the answer to? It's called a rhetorical device.

3
FinishTheBorderWall 3 points ago +3 / -0

So when people die from the vaccine, big pharma and government can blame them for not continuing to mask, distance, etc. It’s a never ending carousel of bullshit.

2
SpaceCadet 2 points ago +2 / -0

Soooo, if you already have no symptoms your body theoretically is preventing replication on its own...and therefore vaccine is the same useful at lessening the spread as a healthy individual who has no symptoms

-4
Colonel_Chestbridge -4 points ago +1 / -5

Eh, not necessarily. People who are asymptomatic are still replicating and possibly transmitting, they just don’t get very sick.

1
RuthBGinsburgsTumor 1 point ago +1 / -0

The point is that governments will never admit to that because it means they no longer have a way to control people. If vaccination means no transmission, then there's no need for you to comply with the rest of the BS.

This is the infuriating Chinese Plague Mobius Strip Infinite 'discussion', often devolving into shouting matches, I being the LONE conservative have been having against my six (older) siblings, specifically regarding the forever-delayed funeral of our mother (deceased 12/17 - now we're shooting for July 31 here in Nebraska to accommodate out of state extended family, one sister who's retired to Panama, etc). Are we going to be 'safely vaccinated' or will we all need to be wearing Virtue Signalling HAZMAT suits? A conservative (and equally exasperated) cousin I routinely communicate with asked if he'll be physically BARRED from the ceremony if he should refuse to undergo vaccination? (YOU don't take this virus that killed mom & dad [debatable as they were instantly cremated] seriously! "I'm not going to take your bait [insert Screeching Karen Sibling here]".....and on and on).

Talk about ISOLATION!!! In this grieving process, in order to maintain 'peace' among my battalion-strength family, it is - and always has been - incumbent upon ME, The Conservative, to keep MY politics to myself....while being assailed from all sides day in/day out. BULLIES indeed. Thank Gawd for TOLERANCE, eh? (Diva was great BTW)

14
ihaveotherthingstodo 14 points ago +14 / -0

the lone conservative...against six older siblings

In all seriousness, you have my prayers. That's one battle I don't think I could handle.

15
BowelSharpton 15 points ago +15 / -0

Their collective 'tolerance' was unreal BEFORE the parents' respective deaths - one brother in particular, having lost his 2nd wife (now on his 3rd) to cancer - moved back from Oregon a few years back, and he was rabidly RADICALIZED in his Left Coast life (and the wife that passed I used to call Linda Blair, just waiting for the pea soup to start jetting out of her pie-hole whenever Big Bad Conservatives were mentioned and/or ANY criticism of Dear Leader FroBama). Honestly, I place the majority of the blame for their Herd/Hive Conversion/De-Evolution squarely at the feet of their spouses - the OutLaws. They all appeared SOMEWHAT sane before betrothal (all on their 2nd, some 3rd runs now - and everyone wonders why I've remained SINGLE all these 53 years!!).

Emotions over FACTS, every time. It's like the crucifix/sunlight to a VAMPIRE.

AsaNisiMAGA 5 points ago +5 / -0

Hugs. I hate everything about this pandemic theater. And glad you enjoyed the movie. The books are quite fun too. Jules is only in the one, the main character in all of them is the super suave super criminal Gorodish. 👌🏻

6
BowelSharpton 6 points ago +6 / -0

I've never been much of an opera fan with few exceptions (Mahler's Das Lied Von Der Erde, Verdi's Requiem...) but the MUSIC in Diva blew me away - as my high school French is insanely rusty, wasn't sure if there was an actual SOUNDTRACK to the film? Loved the music that the Fagin-character Gorodish was always playing.

2
AsaNisiMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

I believe that there was a soundtrack but I haven't looked it up. BTW the version that used to come around to theaters had excellent subtitles but the ones on streaming aren't great and miss some of the humor. Like when Alba first visits Jules' loft and touches his Nagra Jules says, "It's Swiss and very precise!" She replies, "You're acting pretty Swiss yourself." Hopefully even with rusty French you picked up on some of those. It annoys me when the subtitles miss the jokes.

3
BowelSharpton 3 points ago +3 / -0

I agree a thousand fold with your Lost In Translation perspective!! We Culturally Ignorant Americans many times don't understand the subtle nuance of the Romantic languages nor really care to investigate same, preferring to be spoon-fed everything. What a shame. Like "Beat" Takeshi Kitano from Japan and a lot of South Korean cinema I've watched, there is an over-the-top slapstick element to their humor. A lot of the 'regional' allusions/references tend to fly over my head but I investigate the references later on. Which is why I think your pre-and-post 'newsreel' ideas with your films is absolute GENIUS to give an all-around immersive experience.

In Diva I instantly recognized the short villain with the unique 'dolphin' mouth (Le Cure) Dominique Pinon, being in another one of my faves, Amelie. There are two French comedies that I found laugh out loud funny - have you seen these? The ORIGINAL The Dinner Game Le Diner de Cons (American remake was typically AWFUL) and Les Ripoux aka My New Partner from 1984.

I loaned The Dinner Game dvd to my HS French teacher here in the hometown and she thought it was too 'crass'. de gustibus non est disputandum.

2
AsaNisiMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

"Amelie" is wonderful in the full meaning of that word. The other two I have not seen but will add to my future viewing list. I never got under my French teacher's skin. But I once seriously offended and amused my Japanese teacher by using a word I had learned from a pop song (chodai, the way I used it was a very familiar way of saying "Gimme!" and totally inappropriate in the context of our relationship.)

I'm limiting the cartoons and newsreels thing to films from periods where that would have been the norm. If it wasn't getting so expensive I might give them some Depression glass too, like a cake plate or something. But I think I'll settle for explaining the raffles and giveaways that were used to lure people into the motion picture houses in the early days. ;-D

BowelSharpton 8 points ago +8 / -0

Sorry for the WHINE (truly). BOTH parents were lifelong but, with the advent of Trump (candidacy onto presidency and his CONSTANT VILIFICATION by the Goebbels Propaganda Machine) increasingly conservative. They born in '33 and 35 respectively and were absolutely APPALLED at the treatment Trump and by direct association his SUPPORTERS received - they thought the Reagan Is A Senile Buffoon argument was extremely disrespectful, the GWB (whose true colors have come out in spades) years were horrendous but then along came Trump and a whole new "paradigm" of HIDEOUS.

In their 87 and 85 years, having come through the dark years of the depression then WW 2, dad in the Korean War, etc, I would often ask how 'current day' culture/politics/media in general compared and the word 'hysteria' kept being mentioned. They hated to see not just the national (and global) disintegration of ETHICS, a christian bearing, the nuclear family, et al, but the STARK divisions within our sprawling FAMILY: I as caregiver (and now 'curator of the museum'/estate representative) this past decade and the parents versus THE HIVE MIND. The siblings are so RIGHTEOUS in their indignation against (insert this week's completely manufactured crisis) that even my elderly parents weren't immune to their RANTS and they felt physically threatened at times (one brother in particular SCREAMING at both parents and storming off).

Do they all read from the same Malignant Playbook or something? Conservatives: Present FACTS. Liberal/Progressives: Simply start SCREAMING until we relent. Rinse. Repeat.

3
Sparks1017 3 points ago +3 / -0

No apologies necessary, it's too much to bear for anyone. Who among us can tolerate the constant leftist screaming without a fact? Sorry that even your parents had to be subjected to their rantings, and yes they do all read from the same playbook

Forbidden_outcast 10 points ago +10 / -0

My parents are extremely conservative, but they’re super old and still believe doctors are gods and the tv tells the truth. I did tell them I could not assist them with finding a place to get one, but a month later I finally did. They are just so worried about Covid. Go into grocery with mask w/carbon filters, gloves, and spray floorboards with Lysol when they get back into car. I have tried explaining to them to them it is untested and not really a vaccine, and they said they are old and are at peace w/God. But they are also deeply religious and believe you are supposed to die healthy (from old age or things outside of your control), not from neglect of your body and health, bc it’s God’s temple.

Soooooooooi- not much else I can say to them. I did tell them I didn’t think I could get it bc of RA, and they were ok with that. I wear a mask around then except when eating, and then sit far apart, bc I respect and love them and know they can’t possibly understand all of this.

At least one of our grown kids wants it, I know. I don’t like it, but their body their choice. I did tell them I hoped they would wait until it gets approval. Not that that matters- there’s zero chance it will not get approval, but it will buy time

6
Klown_Schwab 6 points ago +6 / -0

the FDA doesn't have a great track record anyway. They've approved plenty of big pharma drugs that later turned out to be harmful

6
chinita_atx 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yes, they are more of a danger to you than you are to them. Whereas before asymptomatic spread was nil, now, the vaccinated -- who can still get wuflu -- can pass it on. If you -- who are unvaccinated -- are asymptomatic, you cannot spread it to them.

3
RizzlieDoodad 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yeah my dad said that to me. I laughed at him and he eventually stopped being stupid

30
AKGG 30 points ago +30 / -0

They are really starting to lose their own narrative, the jab does not prevent you from getting the “virus” and you can still spread it. They have said it is only to prevent a severe reaction if indeed contracted. So why would we need to get it if we are in the 99.97% of survival if contracted? There is absolutely no sensible reason to try and force anyone to get this..

9
DAR1783 9 points ago +9 / -0

Also, it takes 30-60 days for vaccines to reach whatever protective level it is going to have. That includes the Covid Cult vaccines.

8
Fauxvid_Chineteen 8 points ago +8 / -0

EXACTLY! I’ve been trying to spread this knowledge in my community, because people are losing their virtue-signaling minds over this. They’re still stuck on the mask tagline, “I wear my mask for you, you wear yours for me.” 🙄 The vaccine is the opposite, people. It is for YOU. Not HIM. Not HER. Not ME. You want an extra layer of non-FDA-approved chemical ‘protection’? I’m not gonna stop you. And you’re not gonna tell me I need it to protect your stupid fucking MSM cock-gobbling ass. Ok?

No one forced her to have sex. 99% of abortions are from voluntary sex. People know when they have sex there is a possibility another human being will be conceived as a result. It’s entirely reasonable to say that if actions you chose resulted in the creation of another life, you have a responsibility to sustain that life for at least 9 months. Everyone knows sex makes babies.

-12
CucksForTheDonald -12 points ago +3 / -15

By the definition you're using for "life", it should be illegal to kill mold.

Life is not a new thing that's created when a sperm and an egg meet. We are all continuations of existing life which at some point acquires individual egos.

The criteria we use for what is "murder" (not OK) and what is "killing" (OK) do not boil down to "what is sentient" or "what can feel", or even "what has a heartbeat". When we distinguish "murder" and "killing", it boils down to "what has an ego".

An embryo does not have an ego. You're saying the embryo's nonexistent ego must be protected because, if left to grow, it will eventually develop one. If that's the case, then potentially fertile parents must be punished if they don't have as many children as they possibly can, because they could all develop egos.

You had 19 children, but could have possibly had 20? Murder! To the gallows with you!

11
Yeeticus 11 points ago +12 / -1

A human baby in the womb has human DNA and is a human. It’s not mold. It’s not a theoretical potential human. It is an existent human with its own unique human DNA.

Otherwise you have to define when a human becomes a human, and that’s a very dangerous slippery slope that can lead to many atrocities of human rights based who we feel deserves to be classified as a fully realized human person. A newborn? A 5-year-old? A person with developmental disabilities? A person with mental illness? A person with dementia? Where is the line drawn?

0
CucksForTheDonald 0 points ago +1 / -1

Again, some monks argue the line is drawn at "mosquito".

If you're going to argue "human DNA", what exactly is "human DNA"? If we splice some tomato genes into the "human DNA", is it still human?

In my view, it's perverse to treat a biological structure as a "human" when it lacks everything we mean when we say "human", except a blueprint to develop into one. A blueprint, to me, is not a person, even if the blueprint is expressed biochemically.

A human is a human. A person is a person. It's a matter of discernment when a person becomes a person, but it's not a "very dangerous" slippery slope. Birth is an obvious threshold that has been used for ages. When people disagree on the beginning of personhood, any political compromise will lie somewhere between conception and birth.

I don’t believe I’ve lost the debate. I don’t believe it’s at all reasonable to say “if we aren’t sure it’s a human being, might as well leave it up to the individual to decide whether to murder it.” In fact, I believe if we don’t know whether or not it’s a human being, the only reasonable thing is to err on the side of it being a human being and thus protecting its life as if it is one. If you aren’t sure whether human life exists or not, you should err on the side of it existing. The slaughter of innocents is a much greater evil than a woman having to host an innocent life (who 99% of the time is there by her choice) for 9 months.

sun_wolf 3 points ago +3 / -0

That isn’t logical. You are ignoring the moment of conception.

1
CucksForTheDonald 1 point ago +1 / -0

The "moment of conception" is a period of time when a sperm enters an egg, and the genetic material of the sperm and the egg is somewhat randomly combined. This results in the creation of a blueprint which begins to self-develop into a person.

A blueprint, to me, is not a person, even if the blueprint is biochemically expressed. The blueprint lacks every single property we have in mind when we say "person".

There is no other circumstance where you would consider this blueprint a person, except when abortion is concerned. Then it suddenly "already is" one, simply because the genes have been shuffled and to you, that is that.

Your stats sum up to "85% of abortions are chosen by women who are not ready to carry a pregnancy to term."

It's no one's business to force them. It's not your duty to enforce God's law. If you think abortion is a mortal sin, then that's a matter between the woman, her doctor, and God.

CucksForTheDonald -3 points ago +1 / -4

What did you have for lunch today? That was a living, sentient creature. Are you a murderer?

What is the meaning of the relevant commandment? Thou shall not murder:

The Hebrew verb רצח‎ (r-ṣ-ḥ, also transliterated retzach, ratzákh, ratsakh etc.) is the word in the original text that is translated as "murder", but it has a wider range of meanings, generally describing destructive activity, including meanings "to break, to dash to pieces" as well as "to slay, kill, murder".

It means "thou shall not break", "dash to pieces", thou shall not "slay, kill, murder".

Do you think you're meant to use any discernment in that?

Or do you think maybe this requires you to gently swipe the ground in floor of you as you walk, as some Buddhist monks do, to avoid killing an insect?

There are people who take the Bible very literally, and they have Shabbat elevators that run on a schedule all day so they can avoid pressing buttons, which God prohibits on Saturdays. Do you think those people could use some discernment?

“Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us. For we know the one who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The Lord will judge his own people.” It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:26-31‬ ‭NLT‬‬ https://www.bible.com/116/heb.10.26-31.nlt

Guess what banning abortion would do? Increase the use of Condoms.

Banning abortion would have a wonderful public health benefit.

“What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭5:20-21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

That's what you are doing if your idea of "calling a sin a sin" is to put doctors and women in prison for performing and having abortions.

God is the one who said killing an unborn baby in the womb is murder, if you have a problem with that, take it up with Him.

That's your opinion of what God said. You are not his authorized representative.

I'm happy to argue my case in front of God. What I'm unhappy with is people pretending to know God's will, and enforcing their idea of it.

This is what Muslims also do, and it is outrageous.

“Thou shalt not kill.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

-1
CucksForTheDonald -1 points ago +1 / -2

Does it also say:

"When someone does something they don't think is murder, but you think it is, you shall imprison them at gunpoint as if it is murder, because you are right and they're wrong"

Is that what God says? The most zealous people get to decide?

“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. Genesis 3:4 (NLT)

Moral relativism is very popular with Satan, a classic argument from the beginning of time.

1

If the woman is complicit in acquiring the pregnancy then I don’t care. It’s not her right to kill her kid.

We had to go see my granddaughter the day AFTER Christmas, instead of Christmas morning, because the inlaws were coming for Christmas dinner, and were afraid they would get COVID if we unvaccinated, non-mask wearing folk were there spreading our germs around before they got there.

It's a good thing I'm not easily offended.

Good riddance I say. You wouldn't want to breaking bread with those people anyway.

My daughter in LA says I can't visit her 7 month old baby - my only grandchild - until I've been vaccinated.

Don’t give in and turn it around on her for being a retarded horrible person that cannot think for herself

14

Ask her if she's willing to spin the roulette wheel and lose her grandmother. Two can play the histrionic game.

1

I can assure you, she's willing.

12
mrs.rose 12 points ago +12 / -0

Tell her her siblings will enjoy her inheritance

3
freebirdie 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is the correct answer. Either that or leave whatever her portion would be directly to the grandchild, payable at age 21.

4
alienjesus 4 points ago +4 / -0

Tell her you will hang a picture of your grandchild on the fridge.

3
NC_patriot 3 points ago +6 / -3

Just lie and tell her you've been vaccinated.

Either the fucking masks work or they don’t. Tell them to wear a fucking mask if they are so scared.

6

Tell them to bury themselves and wait there until "there's no more chinese flu" or they run out of oxygen, what ever happens first

5
BurgerChef90 5 points ago +5 / -0

Hell, tell them to bury themselves until all dangerous things are gone from earth.

I keep reading articles about there being "too much of a risk" to go out these days.

I guess these people are just gonna stay in for the rest of their lives and live in total fear

My neighbor's nephew came down with covid19, then he passed it to his brother...then the father(neighbor's brother) who just got two vaccine shots caught it...

2
ThurstonHowell3rd 2 points ago +3 / -1

That makes total sense because the endpoint for all of these vaccines is to prevent serious symptoms of the COVID-19 disease.

They aren't designed to prevent you from contracting the virus, or prevent the spread of coronavirus.

People should read the damn pamphlet they are given when they get the vaccine. The vaccine hopefully will keep you out of the hospital/grave from COVID, and that's all.

2
Henry_Cuntmantle 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nah, they were all REALLY sick.

0
ThurstonHowell3rd 0 points ago +1 / -1

And the pro-vax followers would say that w/o having received the vaccine, your neighbors would have been in the hospital (or dead).

Wait till I tell you about my tiger repelling rock...

1
10MeV 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’m puzzled where this comes from. The Pfizer study ONLY reported case numbers, with vs without their injection.

Where is this pseudoscience protection stuff coming from?

Antibodies attach to foreign bodies, signaling the immune system to attack. Already having antibodies let’s your system quickly consume a known invader, heading off infection. Without them your body takes a few days to catch up and create them. A fast reproducing virus can overwhelm you before your immune system ramps up.

That’s just basic immune response. So, if you have antibodies, you’re protected. That’s it. Where is all of the fuzzy confusion coming from?

4
RedPilledPreacher 4 points ago +4 / -0

When these types of inconsistencies appear, it starts triggering my bs meter which just strengthens my resolve to not do anything other than the normal sickness countermeasures we were doing before all this.

It makes me believe there's a certain level of deliberate obfuscation being employed since it has continually provided plenty of leverage over a culture that was already overboard regarding germs and sickness.

1
MamaLlama4DJT2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

Same here, the more they push it, the more I dig in my heels.

3
ThurstonHowell3rd 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why are people who have had, and recovered from COVID-19, told to get the vaccine? I mean, if they have antibodies already, whey are they getting vaccinated? And after they get that vaccination why are some having COVID-19 symptoms (fever, fatigue, etc.) if their immune system already knows how to fight the disease?

3
10MeV 3 points ago +3 / -0

I. Don't. Know.

This is EXACTLY the question I've been asking. My son, a commercial pilot, had covid a while ago. They have been suggesting he may have to take a "vaccine". A friend of mine in his 70s had the bug. And he later got the vaccine. My wife's 100 year old Aunt (yes, 100), had the bug. Got over it fine. And for some reason her kids got her to take the vaccine now!

It makes utterly no sense to me whatsoever. It's like we suddenly abandoned all knowledge of viruses and our immune systems. Simply astonishing.

3
ThurstonHowell3rd 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's either one of two things... The people that are telling us don't really know, or they do know and they aren't telling us. You'd think the people that have spent their life studying viruses would know the truth, so I think it's likely a case of the latter. So then the question becomes, "why aren't they telling us?"

You used to be able to rely on the media in this country to ask these sort of questions but today every news station is selling blocks of ads to the pharmaceutical companies during their broadcasts so they aren't about to bite the hand that feeds them.

9

That’s what I said. My husband got all weird. Why do you have to lie? It’s your medical information and you don’t have to share it with anyone. He has a point.

11
MrAnderson1776 11 points ago +11 / -0

Refusal to answer is a tell everyone recognizes. Every situation is different. I won't wear a mask anywhere and have only been asked to leave one place once. I redpilled the place I got kicked out of and I could tell they were listening.

"Think. Before this, in hospitals, where there are terribly sick people and people with commuicable diseases, did you ever see anyone outside the operating room wearing a mask?"

Silence. Gears turning.

Lying to my elderly grandparents who have gotten the jab and are only phone presences is just the humane thing to do, for them and for the rest of the family.

Correct. If the Supreme Court says it's not the cops' job to protect me, it's not my job to protect any other adult person.

7
she-nani-gan88 7 points ago +7 / -0

This is happening everywhere. Psychological warfare ... in families. My friend had covid & recovered, so has antibodies but family members won't let her see her grand baby unless she gets covid shot too💉... Even though they've had the shots themselves. My dentist didn't want the shot- but couldn't hug his elderly mother.

7
EdmondDaunts 7 points ago +7 / -0

Considering the absolute worst case fatality rate is 0.26% (if you even believe the exagerrated attributions to Covid) your immune system has a 99.73% chance of beating whatever "Covid" is.

Vaccines - roughly around 70% - long term effects or even just seasonal effects - UNKNOWN

Hmmm, just give me a minute...let me circle back on that

The continued saga of my Orange Man Bad aunt. She recently asked me if I was going to get the vaccine. I said that I will talk to my doctor to see if it is appropriate for me, as there are reports of some side effects. She told me it is lies. There are no side effects.

As usual, she listens to NPR and watches MSDNC and CNN

1
ChilledCovfefe 1 point ago +1 / -0

The worst thing about this plague is that people now assign blame to friends and family for sickness. People will get covid and then run down their list of friends and family and then with no proof say “my friend bob never wears a mask, he was the only person I was around right before I got sick.” With no damn proof! You can get it from anyone anytime or at least get whatever is causing the PCR test to show positive.
