If I understand correctly.... there is no claim that the experimental drug stops transmission, only that it lessens symptoms if infected. If it works as advertised then it only protects the person who got it not the people that they encounter. Getting this jab literally doesn't protect others, only one's self. This was how we explained it to family that were freaking out that we didn't get it. They still wouldn't see us and tried to bully us into getting it. Because they are virtue signaling bullies. 🤷♀️
This is the infuriating Chinese Plague Mobius Strip Infinite 'discussion', often devolving into shouting matches, I being the LONE conservative have been having against my six (older) siblings, specifically regarding the forever-delayed funeral of our mother (deceased 12/17 - now we're shooting for July 31 here in Nebraska to accommodate out of state extended family, one sister who's retired to Panama, etc). Are we going to be 'safely vaccinated' or will we all need to be wearing Virtue Signalling HAZMAT suits? A conservative (and equally exasperated) cousin I routinely communicate with asked if he'll be physically BARRED from the ceremony if he should refuse to undergo vaccination? (YOU don't take this virus that killed mom & dad [debatable as they were instantly cremated] seriously! "I'm not going to take your bait [insert Screeching Karen Sibling here]".....and on and on).
Talk about ISOLATION!!! In this grieving process, in order to maintain 'peace' among my battalion-strength family, it is - and always has been - incumbent upon ME, The Conservative, to keep MY politics to myself....while being assailed from all sides day in/day out. BULLIES indeed. Thank Gawd for TOLERANCE, eh? (Diva was great BTW)
