Meanwhile, moral absolutism has done more damage than any psychopath, or group of psychopaths.

Nearly all suffering we create in the world is due to moral absolutism. The idea that we know what's right, therefore we must force it on others.

The reason we are here, and not on Twitter or Reddit, is because the people who run that are moral absolutists.

So you aspire to be like them... just enforcing a different morality.

therefore we must force it on others

There you go again, saying cause people gots morals they force them on others.

You’re the one saying I’m not allowed to hold an opinion and forcing reactions on me. Protection much?

You’re mad at God for having morals and sticking to em. You will be accountable for those morals of God’s not from me, but from the one who bears them. Repent and be reconciled to God. Time is short, we are all sinners. I no better than you. God gave us a way out from the consequences of our sins, if you just accept Jesus Christ.

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:23-26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

You can certainly have an opinion. My assumption is, if you had the chance, you would make abortion illegal. This means you would recruit people with guns to enforce your morality.

If you would not, then your opinion is OK with me.

How kind of you, I’m allowed to have an opinion as long as it’s the one you want me to have. After assuming what my opinion was. I don’t think that’s a fabulous way to have a successful conversation with someone, but that’s just my opinion.

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:44‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:27-28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Nothing in the Bible says I’m called to judge, in fact it advises against it. However I am called to call a spade a spade. A sin is still a sin, but I will love the person and endeavor to see them meet Christ’s Peace as well. I a fellow sinner. Why would I ever want to use military to enforce God’s law when Christ took care of that and does the judging when we die or He returns, whichever comes first. Maybe other religions or other people might be into that, but not knowing their txt I would hesitate to assume. Christ didn’t say eye for an eye Matthew 5: 38-42.

There was an old saying about “assume”... Praying for you.

I don't understand your complaint. Any opinion you have is fine, as long as you don't force your morality on me. Like, by using the state, and its top-down force. Like, banning abortion clinics.

The assumption is fair because the same people here who justly oppose the fascists currently in power also support legislation aimed to prevent abortions.

I think "My body, my choice" is a sound principle, and applies to the uterus just as much as it does to masks and vaccines.
