Hear, hear!! I'm truly one of those who, in retrospect, now realize my upbringing was 'lower' middle class/working class (dad managed the local grain elevator here - always brilliant with his money and we were well provided for but the Always Bitching FARMERS with their gubmint WELFARE were the obscenely wealthy ones). I had a job from paper route running 9 year old, bagboy thru high school, detassling corn fields, etc, now in computers. I agree we as a nation have essentially lost our a) christian mooring and b) any semblance of a WORK ETHIC, instead choosing the tiresome and destructive 'victimhood' horseshit. As a 19-years-sober (this July) guy, it absolutely ENRAGES me (and I need to work on that) hearing the "woe is me" refrain becoming the NORM rather than the EXCEPTION in all walks of life. Take responsibility for your actions. Period, THE END.
