At this point, it'd probably take the civil war era republicans to turn this shit around, but I wouldn't hold my breath. You'd need to make a 'progressive' movement that is similar in every regards to the current one and its tactics, but based on real shit with real people. Who are going to be too damn busy living life the best they are able, enjoying the wealth of our ancestors while it exists for a few more generations. Ride the tiger, enjoy the decline, stoicism in the face of insult and death, blah blah blah.
Yep. In a sense, we are just entertaining ourselves. I do believe, though, that the dam will break when if/when they try to enforce gun confiscation. This will be the time to strike back, with force. And God help them all.
I hear your concerns. We all agree. But, I still feel that if they do start coming for guns, this will ignite the war. I also believe that most of the 'gun grab' nonsense is just a ruse to keep us looking in other directions while they make moves they don't want us to see. Troubled times, for sure.

Americans put up with their jobs, business and livelihoods being destroyed by a blatant scam.
Americans dutifully wore masks over their faces for over a year and subjected their children to the same treatment.
