I am the contractor who a couple weeks ago, I believe, was selectively terminated for my political beliefs as well as not matching the preferred melanin levels (now that that matters as a matter of top-down policy) at a certain three-letter agency that just happened to have to admit recently they shredded Hunter Biden's laptop like a bunch of buffoons.
I will have y'all know, prayer works.
In contractor parlance, I fell up in a wonderful way.
One week after I was terminated, out of the blue a firm contacted me with a 2-yr old resume on file and asked me if I was in the market for a job change, as they thought I might fit into a role they had open. I said "As a matter of fact I am! Would you like an updated resume?"
Once that ball was rolling and I spoke with two high-level review boards (personality match boards I call them), all I had to do was pass the skills interview. When the skills call started I was nervous as hell but knew I had my family in prayer outside my home-office and this great community backing them up shaking the Gates of Heaven with your mighty prayers!
A calm over came me, I relaxed and I just answered his questions, discussed the challenges he asked me to solve and defend my approach and treated him in my heart not as an adversary but as a mentor. The conversation went well and the next day I got an offer I couldn't refuse. I even learned a former co-worker from a couple years ago will be my counter part on the team and the compensation exceeded my expectations.
I HAVE ONLY TO THANK THIS GREAT AND SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY!!! You encouraged me, you echoed what my wife was saying to keep my spirits up.
You are wonderful!
I am so..........happy for you! Godspeed, good sir.
