Winning means governing and Republicans - true republicans, not fake Republicans like Trump - HATE to have to govern.

It’s so much less work to complain about everything the other side is doing and tell your supporters that “if only you had the power you would fix everything,” than it is to actually fix everything.

Besides, even out of power, the Democrats need the Republicans to not be obstructing to get their commie shit through, and the minority Republicans are paid quite handsomely by the Democrats for their service in helping the Ds fuck us over.
