Yes, you see, the flu numbers are down because everyone is wearing masks and social distancing, but we need mask mandates because covid cases are up due to so many people refusing to wear masks or social distance.

What If...... For so long we were misdiagnosing Flu for Covid? What if Covid 19 was actually Covid 2009 disguising itself as influenza?
Nobody ever bothered to count flu cases unless it was bad enough to warrant a visit to the doctor. So in reality, we don’t know what the fuck the real story was with the flu. For all intents and purposes covid is simply a stronger flu, and should be treated as any flu from previous years, if you feel bad, stay home.

Where I live the people are so happy that the government cured the flu.
My MiL is a doctor and fervent never trumper since the ole grab em by the Pussy comment. During a debate about schools needing to open she said that shutting down was a good idea and it worked to lower the curve. I just asked if she was serious... and then she quoted similar numbers to this as if the flu disappearing was justification alone. My FiL called me out cause I was grinning and I just said I came to a different conclusion after seeing those numbers matching up so well with the increase in covid numbers.
This lady is smart as hell most of the time, but damn that is some good koolaid apparently.
It's because they refused to test for it. Someone I know needed a test and they got turned down by every doctor or hospital in the city she called them all, they said flat out "we're not testing for the flu, only covid"
The people say, "flu cases are down." They don't say the year before the disease hysteria 38 MILLION flu cases happened and the year during the hysteria, the amount of cases dropped by almost 38 million. That the country went from 38 MILLION cases to not even 2 THOUSAND. People used hand sanitizer, wore bandanas and stood on taped off places on the ground at check out lines and that made the amount of flu illnesses drop by 99.99+ percent? Flu cases were more than 20,000 times more common before the plandemic than they are now? Wow, that's a hell of a lot of science to trust.
