The people who try to make this point know it's false. They want to prohibit vote r I'd because it inhibits their ability to cheat, which is how they won elections. They know calling anything racist is fairly effective so that's what they do. It's all about seizing power and the ends justify the means in their minds even if it involves lying, hypocrisy and racism.
