I live in New York state. People yell at you and get nasty for not wearing a mask on sidewalk. It's bananas. If you think I can go into my supermarket and shop without a mask, you are very wrong. I'd be dragged out in handcuffs before they let that happen.
I could be wrong about New York, but have you actually tried it once to confirm?
I only ask because before I went maskless, especially when I was in Oregon I was worried about going in. Imagining what everyone would do or say to me. I refused to wear a mask so I opted for curbside or delivery features. But when I did eventually say F it and went in I realized all my fears of being tackled by security or harassed by everyone was unfounded.
Yes ive had mean stares and some under breath comments from commie faggots. But they are nothing.
Yes. People will call the police and refuse service here. If you so much as step foot into a gas station without a mask on everyone in the building will start yelling at you, "SIR, SIR, YOU HAVE TO PUT ON A MASK SIR, SIR".
Did that happen to you did they call the cops on you and refuse you service, or is that what you expect to happen? I dont mean to be difficult, but thats exactly how I felt everything would go down if I walked into a store maskless.
Yes. It's happened to me, and I've seen it happen to others. They fined a local store chain called stewarts so bad that they are uber strict now.
This is also the state that just released "Covid Passports" for entry into venues.
It's great that you think it's not like that. But it is. Everything is still all remote here, and most small businesses are either closed or close to being closed. New York state is peak clown world.
If my career was expendable, I'd have left a long time ago.
