Good afternoon everyone!! I had a thought about how we can force the alt-tech movement by very simply doing one activity every day. Let me explain:

Step 1: Disable ad-blocker or use a different browser than your normal so you can see ads.

Step 2: Click on any and all ads on YouTube for your favorite channels. Why? YouTube pays a premium to the channels when an ad is actually clicked on. This is called a ClickThrough rate. If you see a banner on the side of the page, the channel may get a fraction of a penny, however, if you click the ad and go to the advertisers website, they get charged a click which in advertising, can cost anywhere from $0.50 to a few bucks.

Now imagine if a few hundred thousand ads were all of a sudden clicked on YouTube. It would ruin their marketing budgets by artificially inflating Click-Through metrics, charging advertisers, and using up their marketing budgets. Most will see the lack of engagement on their website through the ads and cancel or limit their advertising on Youtube.

This is how we can force the mainstreamers to use Alt-Tech. We attack the budgets that keep their world revolving. Very simply, click ads and fuck them. Stupid companies will wipe themselves out while the smart ones bail from YouTube. This same exercise can be done on Facebook and Instagram, however, I don't have any experience with them since I've been banned since 2018.

Tips: Use a VPN and change it frequently because it will help legitimize the traffic on the clicks, thus, keeping the rates higher. Most VPNs allow you to change locations for their servers and I would do this occasionally for good practice

Edit more Tips Consider not clicking ads on companies you care about as that would fuck them. Example, Judicial Watch advertises on FoxNews. I'd skip that one

Alternatively, there is a browser extension called AdNauseam that runs in the background behind your adblock. It supposedly clicks every ad the adblocker blocks without inconveniencing you. By doing this, it generates a lot of traffic, but no sales at all and thus drives down ad rates, making advertising on online platforms you use it on worth less and less as more people do it.

Not using it myself, but I remember finding it a while back and thought it worth a laugh enough to remember it.

This sounds way easier.
