If they did that, they couldn’t sell movies or games in the Chinese market, which is massive. They’re just selling out for money. The unintended consequence is that you then have a lot of Americans who don’t give a fuck about history looking at China favorably because they’ve only ever heard negative things about other countries, and the chiefest amongst which—their own.
