As I am sure you are all aware, CA has the strictest gun laws. If by some chance the liberals get their wet dream, and confiscation turns into a real thing. I have a locked gate at the entrance of my property, a locked front door, and a very expensive gun safe. If I don’t open the gate, answer the door, or open the safe, do I at least have laws to protect me from allowing them inside?

No. And I am speaking to you from Texas. Gun confiscation is unconstitutional. It doesn't get more unconstitutional than the outright removal of your 2A protection. If they can ignore your BoR, then you are not safe. At that point, you better hope your local militias have balls and are active and you may want to start to communicate with them if you have not already.
