13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

"Suffer" little children. It means to put up with them, even though they were being kids - rowdy, annoying, probably talking while Jesus was talking - all while the adults were trying to listen to the teacher. The disciples tried to abort them. Jesus said to "suffer" them allow them to be here. For the Kingdom of Heaven is filled with children, and we should make it so here.
