Way back when, there was an incident where a couple Russian soldiers were kidnapped in whatever shit-hole country by muslim extremists and the leaders contacted the Russian military and said "pull-out or you'll never see these two again." Russia LAUGHED. The officials told them "Go-on keep them! We don't care. Oh, by the way, we know you're those villagers we pass by everyday. We went into your village last night and took some of your wives and children hostage..." The Russians proceeded to send the extremists a bag with their wives LEFT EARS. Needless to say, those two soldiers were released immediately.
